Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Machine Minder at our Flixton site near Bungay. The role involves setting up and operating poultry cutting and trimming machines, with a shift pattern on days or Am shift, and a rate of pay of £13.59 per hour.

Training will be provided for those new to the machinery. The successful candidate will support pre-start checks, monitor production, ensure safety and hygiene, and maintain equipment to meet productivity and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating or monitoring machinery within a food-production, manufacturing or factory environment would be advantageous, but it is not essential as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery before production begins.
• Complete and record all pre-start checks and sign-offs.
• Operate poultry cutting and trimming machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machinery continuously during the shift.
• Maintain equipment ensuring smooth production runs.
• Identify and report machinery faults or product issues promptly.
• Assist with basic adjustments and changeovers when trained.
