Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is hiring a Chicken Hanger Operative for the Flixton site near Bungay. The role offers a permanent position with daytime shifts from 5:00am to 3:30pm and a rate of £14.33 per hour.

No previous factory experience is required as full training will be provided, including Level 1 and Level 2 Health and Safety certifications. Prior factory or poultry-processing experience would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be proactive, reliable and hardworking.
• Ability to rotate between tasks and work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Hang chickens onto processing shackles after kill.
• Follow bird-welfare procedures and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain high health, safety, and hygiene throughout shift.
• Follow food-safety, quality procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Rotate between duties and stations as required.
• Use appropriate PPE and keep area clean and organized.
• Report welfare, safety, quality or equipment concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues to hit production targets without compromising standards.
