Job summary

Noble Foods is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support the daily operations of a pullet rearing farm, ensuring high standards of health, welfare and biosecurity. You will work closely with the Farm Manager to maintain efficient workflows and prepare birds for transfer to the laying unit.

The role focuses on monitoring flock performance, feed, water, lighting, ventilation, and space; assisting with vaccination and disease monitoring; and maintaining robust records for audits and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of poultry husbandry, nutrition, ventilation and disease management.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Understanding of biosecurity and animal welfare standards

Responsibilities

• Support daily captive duties as Assistant Farm Manager to ensure bird welfare, health and biosecurity.
• Assist in monitoring flock performance metrics and production planning for pullet rearing.
• Maintain accurate daily records of flock status, feed usage and operational activities.
• Assist with farm equipment maintenance, feed ordering and environmental controls.
• Contribute to compliance, health and safety procedures and waste management.
