Job summary

Noble Foods is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support daily poultry rearing operations for laying birds. You will work with the Farm Manager to ensure bird health, welfare and biosecurity, guiding farm staff and maintaining high standards of productivity and compliance.

You will monitor performance metrics, assist with vaccination and health programs, and help with production planning, record-keeping and data analysis to drive improvements on the farm.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of poultry husbandry, nutrition, ventilation and disease management.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• High attention to detail and record accuracy.
• Understanding of biosecurity and animal welfare standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pullet rearing stages with focus on health, welfare and performance.
• Monitor health, behaviour, uniformity and performance indicators.
• Ensure correct feed, water, lighting, ventilation and space for birds.
• Assist vaccination, medication and flock health monitoring programs.
• Uphold strict biosecurity and hygiene practices across farm areas.
• Maintain compliance with regulations, welfare standards and policies.
• Record flock performance, feed usage and operational activities daily.
• Support production planning, transfers and data analysis for improvements.
