Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Craigavon to deliver letters and parcels. Expect a 35-hour week, 5 days in 7, with a rotating schedule including weekends, and a 8:15–15:15 shift pattern. The role includes outdoor work, extensive walking, and customer interaction across local routes.

You will receive full training, a uniform, and a Royal Mail van. A full UK driving licence and physical fitness are required.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) with valid name/address on the licence.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift/carry 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well-organised in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Job type: Permanent contract

Salary: £13.68 per hour (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.

Working hours: 35:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Saturday– 08:15/15:15*

What To Expect

About You
