The role focuses on complex pregnancies and co-morbidities within the inpatient setting, with opportunities for professional development and career progression.

You will support the ward lead, supervise junior staff, and work collaboratively within the MDT to maintain safe, compassionate care

Qualifikationen

• Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) is essential.
• Mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards is required.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development is expected.

Aufgaben

• Assist maternity ward manager in safety, staffing and facilities management.
• Deliver and coordinate care through appropriate practice, delegation and supervision.
• Ensure high standard of midwifery care aligned to local and national guidelines.
• Monitor and improve patient experience and outcomes.
• Promote patient safety and multidisciplinary communication.
• Provide education and health promotion to patients and families.
