Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Postgraduate Research Administrator to support the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Science programme within the Doctoral Academy. The role ensures compliant administration of student processes and collaboration with NHS partners and HSST programme components.

The successful candidate will manage records, data protection, and co-ordinate research activity for PGRs, working with Directors and supervisors, and supporting campus-based operations

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative role supporting students and programme activity.
• Understanding of student or programme administration in a university or healthcare context.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for a range of stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Administering programme and activity support for the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Science programme.
• Providing administrative support to students undertaking taught units and monitoring engagement.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data quality and data protection across systems.
• Maintaining compliance with university governance, policies, and external regulatory obligations.
• Coordinating research project activity for PGRs and liaising with Programme Directors and supervisory teams.
