We are seeking
a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant in AI for Digital Health to join Professor Tingting Zhu’s research group at the Department of Engineering Science (Headington, Oxford). The post is funded by NIHR and is fixed-term for 24 months, with a possible extension. This project focuses on creating novel AI models to predict patient outcomes following acceptance or refusal of an offer on transplant using multimodal medical data. Responsibilities include literature review, data cleaning, model development, and implementation. Candidates should possess a relevant PhD (or near completion) in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields; have a strong publication record; possess good knowledge of machine learning algorithms and/or statistical methods; demonstrate programming competence in Python; and show evidence of effective teamwork in multidisciplinary research environments.
