The Wellcome Sanger Institute, Martin group, is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to join a programme on perinatal and early-life traits. Based at Hinxton, you will contribute to large-scale genomics projects and biomarker discovery using cfDNA, methylation, and multi-omics data.

You will collaborate across UK and Scandinavia groups, with a 3-year contract, hybrid working on campus, and access to world-leading sequencing and computational resources.

Formación

• PhD in statistics, genetics, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics or related field.
• Experience analyzing large-scale omics datasets (genetic, epigenetic or proteomic).
• Experience with high-throughput data QC/normalization and statistical methods.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze large-scale proteomic and genetic data to develop biomarkers.
• Work with birth cohorts to study neurodevelopmental and perinatal traits.
• Develop biomarkers for pregnancy complications from cfDNA data.
• Collaborate with groups in the UK, Scandinavia and beyond.
