Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research in Sutton invites applications for a Postdoctoral Training Fellow to contribute to the Boomers project, focusing on molecular genomic analyses of archival tumours and pale data across decades.

The successful candidate will lead data generation, apply novel computational tools, study mutational landscapes and microbiome changes, and help translate findings to early-onset colorectal cancer insights and clinical implications.

Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, bioinformatics or other relevant area.
• Appropriate publication record for level of experience
• Good communication, observation and time-management skills, and the ability to interact effectively with other team members in a highly interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead genomic analyses on archival tumours and study mutational landscape.
• Develop computational tools to infer tumour age and growth rate.
