Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in Sutton invites applications for a Postdoctoral Training Fellow to lead computational oncology analyses of multi-omic colorectal cancer data. You will explore evolutionary trajectories to metastasis under the guidance of Prof.

Trevor Graham and contribute to translational insights. We seek a PhD, strong genomic analysis and HPC experience, and a track record of bioinformatics tool development (R, Python).

Qualifications

• PhD in bioinformatics or related field required.
• Strong genomic analysis expertise and HPC experience preferred.
• Ability to design and use bioinformatic and statistical tools (R, Python).
• Significant publication record for experience level.
• Excellent communication and time-management within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead computational oncology research focusing on multi-omic, longitudinal colorectal cancer data.
• Develop and apply bioinformatics and statistical methods to study evolution and metastasis.
• Collaborate with the Genomics and Evolutionary Dynamics team to produce high-impact findings.
