The Francis Crick Institute in London invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to join the Cytoskeletal Coordination Laboratory, opening January 2027. You will investigate how molecular machines remodel microtubules, utilizing cryo-EM, reconstitution with purified proteins, and fluorescence microscopy.

You will lead a project, develop experimental approaches, and contribute to an open and collaborative research environment.

Formación

• PhD in a relevant field (final stages acceptable).
• Experience with cryo-EM data collection and analysis.
• Ability to design experiments and interpret data critically.
• Proven track record of scientific communication and collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and lead a project on cytoskeletal remodeling mechanisms.
• Produce and characterize recombinant proteins and complexes; establish interaction assays.
• Use cryo-EM and computational analysis to study molecular assemblies.
• Integrate structural findings with biochemical and fluorescence data to test mechanisms.
• Document experiments rigorously and present findings at meetings and in publications.
