Job summary

SINAPSE - Scottish Imaging Network invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to advance light-sheet microscopy for biomedical imaging. The role covers design to implementation and application, with testing on developmental biology in collaboration with the School of Life Sciences.

The project aims to overcome imaging depth limits by fusing computational imaging and adaptive optics. Funding is provided via UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship renewal, with visa eligibility in mind.

Responsibilities

• Develop next generation of light-sheet microscopes for biomedical imaging.
• Participate in design, implementation and application of microscope systems.
• Test and apply to developmental biology in collaboration with the School of Life Sciences.
