Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Postie in the Bury area. The role involves delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, building relationships with customers, and working outdoors in all weather. The position is a fixed-term contract of 9 months, with a 30-hour week and rotating shifts, including weekends, from 14:30 to 20:30.

You must have a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and be able to pass a driving assessment. Training is provided, with paid overtime available.

Job type: Fixed Term contract (9 Months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 30:00hours per week – working 5 days across Monday - Sunday – 14:30-20:30*

• Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)

About you

We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
