Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Driver in Rugby for Royal Mail. Start date is immediate on a temporary contract, with a 30-hour week and a pay rate of £13.69 per hour. Shifts run Monday to Friday with weekend availability required, and hours span 08:30 to 20:00.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred) and held for at least 6 months.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, walking up to 8 miles daily.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg; use delivery trolleys when required.

• Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
