Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver in Bathgate to support Royal Mail on a temporary basis. The role pays £13.69 per hour for a 30-hour week, starting immediately. You will begin each day at the local delivery office, sorting and loading rounds before delivering letters and parcels by foot or van.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required, from 08:30 to 17:00. Use a handheld device for navigation and signatures, and work outdoors in all weather while lifting

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred)

Shifts run Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required, between 08:30am and 17:00pm.

Starting immediately, you will begin each day at the local delivery office, sorting and loading your rounds before heading out.

Using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, you will deliver letters and parcels on foot or by van, covering up to eight miles daily.

The role involves lifting mail bags and parcels weighing up to 20kg, so physical fitness is essential.

Customer service skills and the ability to work independently outdoors are also key.

Requirements

• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
