Job summary

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a busy delivery office team in Pendle (BB9). As a Postal Worker, you will deliver letters and parcels and be the friendly face the community relies on.

Pay is £13.69 per hour with full-time shifts 15:00–21:00, five days from 7. This temp role has potential to go permanent. You’ll start at the local delivery office, sort mail, drive a van, and track deliveries with a handheld device.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points)
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months
• Dependable, self-driven attitude
• Comfort working solo and outdoors in all weather
• Team spirit and helping others

Responsibilities

• Begin at the local delivery office, sorting mail for your route.
• Hit the road in a van, delivering letters and parcels to homes and businesses.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time, shifts between 15:00-21:00
• Days: 5 days from 7
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
