Job summary

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Wishaw (ML2). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

You'll work 10:00-16:00 or 15:00-21:00, five days from six, on a temp basis with potential to go permanent. Weekly pay, pension, wellbeing discounts, and DBS checks are provided through Blue Arrow.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Licence held for a minimum of 6 months.
• Reliable, self-driven, able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Team player, helpful and friendly approach.
• DBS Basic check required and paid for by Blue Arrow.

Responsibilities

• Sort mail at the local delivery office for your route.
• Hit the road in a van, delivering letters and parcels to homes and businesses.
• Use a handheld device to track deliveries and stay on schedule.
• Provide excellent service come rain or shine with a smile.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £13.69 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 10:00-16:00 or 15:00-21:00 (both required)
• Days: 5 days from 6
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm

What You'll Need:
