Job summary

Blue Arrow are seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a delivery office team in Dalkeith. You will deliver letters and parcels, starting from the local office and using a handheld device to keep on schedule. This full-time role operates in a postal environment with potential progression to permanent employment.

You will need a full UK manual driving licence (6 points max), be comfortable outdoors in all weather, and work well solo within a team. Weekly pay and pension benefits are included.

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Licence held for minimum of 6 months.
• A dependable, self-driven attitude.
• Comfort working solo and outdoors in all weather.
• A team spirit and a love for helping others.
• Basic DBS Check (Criminal Record Check - No cost, Blue Arrow will cover this).

Blue Arrow are actively seeking Postal Delivery Drivers to join a successful delivery office team in Dalkeith (EH22). As a Postal Worker, you will be a vital part of the community, delivering letters and parcels, while being the friendly face that people look forward to seeing.

About the role

Our client is the leading provider of mail and parcel services across the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and standards for the customers to ensure that they receive important correspondence and parcels come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing some part of the route on foot, ensuring that everything reaches it's destination safely.

Key information

• Pay rate: £16.24 p/h
• Hours: Full time - 10:30am-4.30pm or 2pm-9pm
• Days: 5 days from 7
• Contract: Temp with potential to go Perm
