Job summary

Pertemps in Bristol is recruiting a Postal Delivery Driver for Royal Mail on a temporary basis. The role covers multi-drop deliveries across Bristol areas, with a Sunday-only schedule and hourly pay.

You will start immediately, lift and carry mail, use handheld devices, and work outdoors in all weather. A UK manual driving licence is required, with good time management and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (6 points max; clean licence preferred).
• Delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 8 Hours A Week

Schedule: Sunday Only

Shift Times: Between: 11:30am - 19:30pm
