Job summary

Oxford Archaeology Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Supervisor for our Post-Excavation team in Bar Hill. The role focuses on stratigraphic analysis, interpretation and presentation of project data, with most work in post-excavation analysis and potential research support for other departments.

Applicants should have a degree in archaeology or related field, strong written English, and familiarity with MS Office, Access, AutoCAD or GIS.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in archaeology or related discipline.
• Good written English and ability to write reports.
• CIfA membership or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post-excavation analysis leading to outputs.
• Writing grey literature reports and publications.
• Experience in post-excavation work and writing of archaeological reports.
• Use of MS Office, Access, AutoCAD or GIS for data handling.
• Work independently or as part of a team with good organizational skills.
