The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint multiple dynamic and proactive Post Doctoral Research Associates to join the Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH). You will collaborate with world-leading researchers and contribute to positive impacts on rural, remote, and coastal communities.
We have two posts available: CHS220 Post Doctoral Research Associate (spatial and structural determinants of rural and coastal health) and CHS221 Post Doctoral Research Associate (rural and coastal health inequalities). Both are permanent and full-time at 1 FTE.
Postholders will contribute to shaping the research portfolio of LIRCH and should have demonstrated a keen interest in health outcome disparities faced by rural and coastal communities throughout their academic careers. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in the spatial and structural determinants of health, health outcome disparities, and mixed-method approaches.
The Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health (LIRCH) is the country's first integrated and multidisciplinary research institute dedicated to rural and coastal health research. It has been awarded £10.9 million from Research England’s Expanding Excellence in England (E3) fund and is undergoing significant expansion. LIRCH aims to produce impactful research addressing inequalities faced by rural, coastal, and remote communities by co-designing research with communities and the next generation of researchers.
The University of Lincoln offers exciting career opportunities, including a generous annual leave allowance of 30 days (plus 14 bank holidays), progressive pay rates, and discounts at popular stores.
These positions are funded by Research England's E3 fund as part of a £10.9 million grant.
