Job summary

Bell Cornwall Recruitment is seeking a Post Completion Assistant for its well-established conveyancing team in Tamworth. The role focuses on finalising residential property transactions with accuracy and efficiency, offering a supportive environment and ongoing development opportunities.

The salary is £25,000 (dependent on experience) with hybrid working: three days in the office and two from home. A permanent, full-time position in a client-focused legal firm awaits the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous residential conveyancing or post-completion experience is desirable.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a high volume of tasks.
• Strong communication and IT skills, including case management systems.
• A proactive, reliable team player with familiarity with HM Land Registry and SDLT online services (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting SDLT/LTT returns and HM Land Registry applications within statutory deadlines.
• Managing mortgage redemption’s, liaising with lenders and serving notices of assignment and charge.
• Monitoring applications, responding to HM Land Registry requisitions and checking completed registrations.
• Sending title documents and completion information to clients and lenders, while assisting with undertakings.
• Maintaining accurate case management records, closing completed files and providing general administrative support to the conveyancing department.
