Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for the Enfield centre to support post-16 students across foundation, vocational and academic courses.

The role involves in-class and 1:1 support to help students engage with learning and develop independence. You will work with students aged 16–24 with moderate SEND needs, including Autism and ADHD, using positive strategies to manage behaviours and encourage confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience or interest in supporting students with SEND, including Autism and ADHD.
• Patient, caring and reliable approach to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
• Ability to work with young people aged 16–24 in a Further Education setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and 1:1 support to post-16 students with SEND.
• Help students engage with the curriculum and develop independence.
• Work with teaching staff to implement appropriate support strategies.
• Encourage positive behaviour and support students across academic, vocational and functional skills.
