Post 16 Creative Teaching Assistant, London

Protocol Education is currently recruiting creative-minded teaching assistants to deliver one-to-one sessions for students with special needs, starting after Easter. We welcome applicants with or without experience who enjoy working with young people and have a creative approach. The role involves working with learners individually, primarily preparing them for adulthood, and supporting activities in music, art, and outdoor settings such as farms and work placements, to broaden their life experiences.

The role includes:

• Location: Southwark, London
• Full-time, Monday to Thursday, with optional Fridays
• Long-term position with job security
• Supporting classes of 6-8 students
• Developing academic and social skills through creative methods like art or music
• Teaching numeracy with a focus on independence
• Supporting community involvement and work placements
• Training opportunities during employment
• Excellent transport links

The candidate should have:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
