Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council’s Adult Social Care is recruiting a PBS Practitioner to join the PBS team at Shire Hall, Gloucester. The role involves working outside standard hours across the county, delivering person-centred support and developing BSPs through Functional Assessments in collaboration with local teams.

• Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support (QCF4) or equivalent, or working towards with significant PBS experience.
• UKSBA registration or willingness to register.
• Knowledge of PBS frameworks and practice; PBS competencies.
• Organised with a risk-based approach to prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Functional Assessments and develop BSPs.
• Collaborate with Locality, Hospital and Learning Disabilities teams across Gloucestershire.
• Provide person-centred PBS support to individuals and families.
• Work outside normal hours and across county locations as needed.
