Job summary

National Highways invites a Project Manager to drive a portfolio of projects within the Yorkshire North East region, reporting into regional leadership and coordinating with external contractors and consultants. Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in an engineering discipline and portfolio management experience.
• Experience delivering Civil Engineering projects and portfolios.
• Qualifications like MSP, APM or Prince2 are desirable.
• Knowledge of NEC 4 forms of contract and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Regional Management Team and stakeholders.
• Manage programme delivery, financial reporting and risk for the capital programme.
• Ensure governance, quality assurance, health and safety across the supply chain.
• Identify improvements and champion portfolio management best practices.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and constraints across the portfolio.
