Base salary is very much dependent upon experience. Hybrid working available after successful probation.

Bridging Loan Portfolio Manager Main Requirements:
  1. Undertaking the Pre-Completion Call
  2. Dealing with all Borrower interaction once the loan draws down
  3. Managing the satisfaction of Conditions Subsequent
  4. Obtaining necessary documents (e.g., building insurance certificates; replacement AST documents; leases)
  5. Maintaining satisfactory records of events during the life of the Loan (primarily but not exclusively using the CRM system)
  6. Managing anticipated redemption dates
  7. Negotiating additional loan facilities with the borrower (e.g., term extensions)
  8. Instructing and liaising with our appointed Lawyer to document loan extensions
  9. Escalating cases to the Credit Risk Manager/Managing Director
  10. Preparation of updates to the Lenders/Funders that own the underlying loan
  11. Within 5 days of loan completion, issuing a welcome letter to the Borrower including the assigned PM name and contact details
  12. Checking security documents are correctly executed
  13. Maintaining a list of executed security documents (as detailed in the Report on Title)
  14. Monitoring registrations of charges to ensure proper registration
  15. Monitoring Corporate Borrowers at Companies House, ensuring alerts are addressed, and filings are up to date
  16. Liaising with Borrowers and/or appointed Project Monitoring Surveyor (PMS)/Asset Manager (AM) regarding property works to ensure timely, on-budget, and quality progress
  17. Managing release monies for property works as per facility and PMS/AM instructions
  18. Keeping up-to-date knowledge of tenants, payments, rents, and borrower activities for potential funding opportunities
  19. Hosting borrower events to generate further loan opportunities and strengthen relationships
  20. Representing the business at industry and social events as required
  21. Assisting with possession and default claims or appointing receivers
  22. Handling questions/queries from assignees and sub-funders
  23. Understanding security documents and powers within
Bridging Loan Portfolio Manager Person Specification
  1. Excellent Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills
  2. Comfortable with change and process improvements
  3. Contributing ideas to improve systems, processes, and controls
  4. Managing competing priorities and deadlines
  5. Covering colleagues’ roles during absences
  6. Confidently escalating issues to management
