Job Vacancy – ABL Portfolio Manager – Asset Based Lending – North West of England – M2 Recruitment

An outstanding opportunity to join one of the leading providers of Asset Based Lending in the UK.

Based in the company’s Manchester office, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of Asset Based Lending relationships, with individual facilities typically ranging from £5m to £20m.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing the portfolio of clients.
2. Providing balanced client service, retention, income generation, and risk management.
3. Identifying business trends and early risk indicators, managing exposure, and exit strategies.
4. Ensuring operational and relationship excellence.
5. Collaborating with originators as part of the deal team, from credit assessment to legal completion and portfolio risk review.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Asset Based Lending, advanced deal structuring skills, and strong financial analysis abilities to review complex business proposals and financing needs of large corporates.

You should be a self-starter, highly motivated team player, and aligned with the organization’s growth and risk philosophy in a competitive environment.
