Job summary

PER is seeking a senior investor with a strong record in private equity to take ownership of an existing portfolio and drive strategic value. You will work closely with founders, management teams and boards to enhance performance, explore growth options, potential acquisitions, refinancings or realisations, and shape exit strategies to maximise shareholder value.

You will identify and pursue realisation opportunities, oversee external advisers through transactions, and address underperformance

Qualifications

• Experience leading investments from acquisition to exit and realisation.
• Ability to develop clear strategies and plans for portfolio companies.
• Strong commercial judgement and track record of shareholder value creation.
• Experience working with founders, management teams and boards.
• Proven capability to manage external advisers through transactions.
• Skilled in identifying underperformance and addressing issues quickly.
• Experience with restructurings, follow-on funding and leadership changes.
• Ability to report clearly to Investment Committees and investors.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of investments and develop strategy for each.
• Work with founders and boards to drive value creation and performance.
• Assess long-term strategy including growth, acquisitions or exit.
• Develop and maintain exit strategies and milestones for value maximisation.
• Identify realisation opportunities such as trade sales or refinancings.
• Coordinate with corporate finance advisers through transaction processes.
• Spot underperformance early and address leadership or commercial issues.
• Support restructurings and governance changes when needed.
• Provide clear reporting to Investment Committee and investors.
