Job summary

Finatal in London is seeking an experienced Investment Partner to lead origination and execution across mid-market opportunities. You will work with founders and management teams to accelerate growth, oversee portfolio companies at board level and shape the firm’s investment strategy.

You will influence investment decisions, build durable relationships with investors and advisers, and mentor junior colleagues as the firm expands its London footprint.

Qualifications

• Significant private equity investment experience in UK/European mid-market.
• Track record of originating, leading and completing investments.
• Experience with founder-led businesses and management teams.
• Established network across management teams, advisers, banks and deal community.
• Strong commercial judgement, with risk and return discipline.
• Board-level portfolio support and value creation experience.
• Expertise in investment analysis, valuation and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Originate proprietary and intermediated opportunities through a broad network.
• Lead evaluation and execution from engagement through completion.
• Assess businesses, sectors and teams with strong commercial judgement.
• Present and defend investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
• Build relationships with founders, management and shareholders.
• Serve as a senior board representative across portfolio companies.
• Identify growth opportunities and support exit planning.
• Contribute to investment strategy and firm positioning.
• Represent the firm externally to investors and advisers.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to culture.
