Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee a portfolio of technology businesses. You will drive management accounts, budgeting, cash planning, and financial analysis across multiple entities, with autonomy to improve controls and processes.

This hybrid role requires 3 days in Cheltenham and 2 days remote, with the potential for travel and ongoing professional development. A qualified accountant or progressing toward one is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or working towards a qualification.
• Experience producing management accounts, budgets and forecasts.
• Experience implementing financial controls and processes.
• Skilled in communicating financial insights to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Produce management accounts, KPI reporting, and financial analysis across your portfolio.
• Build budgets, forecasts and financial models to support growth and cash planning.
• Take ownership of cash flow and working capital management.
• Implement and improve financial controls, reporting processes, and procedures.
