Job summary

Innovate Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Product/Portfolio Delivery Lead in the United Kingdom. The role blends hands-on engineering with a business-facing delivery focus, guiding a multi-project portfolio from concept through production and in-service support.

Hybrid working 2-3 days on-site. You will balance technical judgement, CMR-like goals and stakeholder engagement to realise cost savings and schedule benefits.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in an engineering discipline across full product lifecycle.
• Background in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, rail, defence or similar complex product environments.
• Ability to manage packages of work and influence stakeholders while preserving technical integrity.

Responsibilities

• Leading engineering delivery activities across a portfolio of complex electro-mechanical products, focusing on technical risk, obsolescence and engineering commonality.
• Embedding commonization, modularity and reuse principles across project teams.
• Reviewing predicted and measured benefits from an engineering perspective and challenging assumptions.
• Coordinating responses between Functions, Equipment Teams and Centres of Excellence on risks or issues.
• Ensuring obsolescence removal does not disrupt dependencies or downstream products.
• Supporting supply chain and commercial discussions by understanding impact on cost, schedule and performance.
• Driving continuous improvement and new ways of working around commonality, modularity, reuse and obsolescence.
