Job summary

Paragon Bank is seeking a Portfolio Administrator to support Asset Managers and the Head of Asset & Portfolio Management in overseeing SME lending assets. The role involves coordinating administrative tasks, auditing asset data, and managing essential records and contracts to ensure risk is controlled and reporting is accurate.

You will liaise with internal teams and external partners, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of information.

Responsibilities

  • Support Asset Managers with timely, accurate information and feedback from on-site inspections.
  • Conduct data quality audits to assess asset data quality across the portfolio.
  • Renew and manage key documentation, ensuring procedures and contracts are up to date.
  • Assist Senior Asset Managers by handling document requests promptly and accurately.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners (inspection agents, repossession agents, valuers).
  • Execute other tasks as assigned by Head of Asset & Portfolio Management.

Job Purpose

The role of the Portfolio administrator is to deliver appropriate and timely support to Asset Managers, Senior Asset Managers and the Head of Asset & Portfolio Management regarding the management of all aspects of the SME Lending portfolio, supporting the need to deliver oversight on two key operational Asset Management objectives: Valuation Risk and Physical Asset Risk.

Predominantly, the role focuses on the coordination of administrative activities across the Asset Management function aiding interrogation of asset risk on the Paragon Portfolio, including Lessee auditing, asset risk assessments, data quality compliance and management of key records, contracts and procedural documentation.

Key Duties
  • Support Asset Managers, by providing timely and accurate information regarding onsite inspection requirements and management of feedback post-assessment
  • Undertake data quality compliance audits to assess the quality of asset data being recorded across the portfolio
  • Proactive management and renewal of key documentation across the department, ensuring compliance standards are maintained for procedures and 3 rd Party contracts
  • Support Senior Asset Managers, by adhering to document requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaison with key personnel across Paragon, including Asset Managers, Recoveries and Collections Agents, Sales personnel and Operational personnel
  • Liaison with key 3 rd Parties, including Inspection Agents, Repossession Agents, Liquidators, Company Administrators, Valuation Partners and others
  • Any other task or objective as assigned by the Head of Asset & Portfolio Management

Qualifications and Experience

It is essential that you have a minimum of 1 years experience in an asset-based industry

Working Hours

37.5hours per week, in the office twice a week
