The Burghley Estate is a diverse business based in Stamford, Lincolnshire. At the heart of the Estate is Burghley House, set within 1,500 acres of historic parkland. Business interests include Burghley House, Gardens and Adventure Play visitor attractions, a busy programme of public and private events including the world renowned 5\* Defender Burghley Horse Trials, Burghley Park Golf Club and a significant property portfolio.
We are seeking a reliable, proactive and professional Porter to join our team at Burghley House. This is a unique opportunity to live and work within a beautiful estate setting, playing an important role in the day-to-day operation, security and presentation of the House and Park.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. As a key member of the Porters team, you will help ensure the smooth running of the estate, support visitors and guests, and contribute to maintaining the highest standards across the property. On-site accommodation is provided as part of the role.
As Porter, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including security, visitor support, event assistance and general estate operations. You will help ensure the House and Park are welcoming, safe and presented to the highest standards at all times.

This role operates on a rolling rota throughout the year, including weekends and bank holidays.
Week One: 5 days on, 6:30am – 2:00pm | 2 days off
Week Two: 5 days on, 2:00pm – 9:00pm | 3 days off
