Job summary

Ignition is hiring a Porter / Driver Mate in Southampton. Join a two-person delivery crew, assist the driver, and help deliver products to customer homes.

This role offers part-time options, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime. DBS check required, and you must be able to lift heavy items and travel to site for shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred.
• Clear DBS check required.
• UK resident or eligible to work in the UK.

• Heavy lifting required (bathrooms and kitchens).
• Checking delivery notes and completing paperwork.
• Using a handheld scanner to record deliveries.

Job Title: Porter / Drivers Mate

Location: Southampton

Pay Rate: £12.71 to £19.07 p/h

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday (06:00 - 07:00 start times) - Part time work also available

Experience: Previous experience preferred

Porter/Driver Mate - the role & responsibilities:

• Working in a 2 Person Crew with a driver
• Delivering products to Customer Homes
• Heavy lifting required (Bathrooms and Kitchens)
• Checking Delivery notes and completing paperwork
• Using a handheld scanner to record deliveries

About you:

We are looking for people with previous experience in this type of role, and you will be able to lift heavy items and get in and out of an HGV easily.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
