Job Description

We are seeking a Porter to join our team in the Portering department. This is a bank role working on an "as and when required" basis, providing staffing support during busy periods and covering for staff absences.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general tasks such as moving patients, equipment, and goods (e.g., pharmacy supplies).
• Assist in explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and visitors.
• Provide courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Ensure patient comfort and dignity are maintained.
• Maintain security within the hospital, following security protocols and conducting patrols as required.
• Complete all mandatory training.

Candidate Requirements

• Frontline customer-facing experience.
• Experience in healthcare, hotel, or hospitality settings is beneficial.
• GCSEs in Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
• Proficiency in PC use, including relevant software and systems.
