Responsibilities

• Guide patients, visitors and staff to correct hospital locations.
• Handle waste collection and recycling following health and safety standards.
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures and management systems.
• Safely transport patients between wards using appropriate equipment and care.
• Deliver specimens, samples and blood products securely across departments.
• Support with respectful transfer of deceased patients.
• Provide additional porter services such as mail delivery, pharmacy runs, moving furniture, and transporting records or stock.
