Job summary

Briggs Marine Group is seeking a Port Services Operative (Tug) to support the safe berthing and unberthing of vessels, operate link spans, marshal traffic, and handle freight and passenger checks within the Port.

The role requires strict adherence to health, safety and environmental policies, a proactive approach to safety, and commitment to high standards of customer service and teamwork across Briggs sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a marine/terminal operation facility.
• Experience with quayside operations.
• Experience in HGVs or Tug Master vehicles.
• Full, clean, manual driving licence.
• HGV class 1 licence & CPC.
• City & Guilds Mooring Appreciation Certificate.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
