About the role

We are looking for motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Port Operatives at our busy terminal.

You will be responsible for the:

1. Working 4 on 4 off
2. Safely and efficiently handle all types of cargo during port operations.
3. Perform various Terminal activities, ensuring smooth, reliable operations.
4. Comply with legislation and company policies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all personnel.
5. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
6. Engage openly and honestly with the team, taking ownership of your role and contributing to a collaborative workplace culture.

About you

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. A team-oriented mindset, combined with a positive and open attitude, is essential. Additionally, evidence of effective organisational skills, including the ability to take initiative and act independently, is highly valued for this role. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
