Job summary

Center Parcs UK & Ireland is hiring a Kitchen Team Leader / Chef de Partie for Canopy Café and Bar at Sherwood Forest. You will oversee daily food prep, mentor junior staff and support the kitchen management in delivering high-quality dishes.

This full-time role operates 8:00am–8:00pm, with a guaranteed 160 hours over a 4-week period and includes evenings and weekends. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £15.05 plus tips and access to great staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen leadership experience.
• Strong communication with team.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation and presentation to company standards.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues to support their growth.
• Act as deputy for the Assistant Kitchen Manager when required.
• Monitor stock, portion control and ordering to manage costs effectively.
• Implement measures to reduce food waste and maintain operational efficiency.
