Resource Recruitment in Poole, Dorset is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy warehouse operation on a fixed shift. You will supervise the team, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure operations run safely and efficiently in line with quality standards and targets.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to resolving issues, with a focus on health and safety and continuous improvement within the site.

Formación

• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Solid knowledge of warehouse operations and processes.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and operational performance.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Good IT skills and health & safety awareness in a warehouse.
• Hands-on coach willing to lead by example.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the warehouse team.
• Allocate tasks and resources efficiently.
• Monitor productivity and adherence to processes.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor.
• Coach and support operatives to ensure proper methods.
• Manage attendance and timekeeping.
• Conduct return-to-work meetings and illness management.
• Complete health & safety, housekeeping and compliance checks.
• Identify hazards and take appropriate actions.
• Support incident reporting and follow-up.
• Use WMS and systems to generate KPIs.
• Train team members on systems and processes.
• Suggest improvements for safety, efficiency and layout.
• Communicate daily priorities and updates clearly.
• Support implementation of new processes.
