Job summary

InPost UK seeks a proactive Day Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Lutterworth warehouse team and manage daily operations. You will supervise a dedicated team, ensure deadlines are met, and drive efficiency across packing, sorting and distribution processes.

The role requires hands-on warehouse experience, supervisory skills and strong communication to keep plans on track while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fast-paced warehouse, distribution or logistics environments.
• Experience in a supervisory role with team motivation and performance management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give clear direction under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the warehouse team to meet productivity and deadlines.
• Forecast staffing needs, rota management and annual leave planning.
• Ensure labelling, sortation and productivity targets are achieved with quality.
• Induct new staff and provide ongoing training for staff and contractors.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant warehouse environment.
• Uphold company standards and health & safety training requirements.
• Navigate fast-paced daily tasks with calm focus and effective issue resolution.
