Job summary

McGinnis Loy Associates Ltd invites applications for a Payroll Administrator/Payroll Clerk in Poole. You will manage 30-50 client payrolls monthly, covering weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles, with responsibilities including PAYE/N.I. calculations and HMRC compliance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, experience in a payroll bureau or accounting firm, and effective client communication. Salary base up to £31,000 with healthcare, pension and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a multi-client payroll environment.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll regulations and year-end processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process 30-50 client payrolls per month across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly frequencies.
• Calculate PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, SPP and other deductions for clients.
• Maintain accurate employee records and manage payroll inputs and updates.
