Job Title: Pool Attendant

We are looking for an energetic and lively Pool Attendant to join our Spa team at The Retreat, Elcot Park, located in West Berkshire, as we head into the Spring and Summer months. This role is perfect for someone who values the great outdoors, fresh air, and does not mind working in the sunshine.

After extensive refurbishment, the hotel has been transformed to offer individually bespoke designed bedrooms, two new exciting restaurant concepts, a state-of-the-art spa facility, and many more experiences for our guests.

Your responsibilities:

• Work comfortably outdoors during the spring and summer months, attending to and maintaining our Hot and Cold Tubs, including moving logs and caring for our Fire Pits.
• Engage with training and development activities to perform your role effectively.
• Inspect and maintain our pool tests regularly, reporting any maintenance issues to the Spa Director and Maintenance team.
• Work as part of a team and manage your own time and priorities.
• Assist guests around the outdoor pool area, including drinks service, and assume the role of lifeguard (no formal qualification needed).
• Keep the outdoor area clean and well-maintained, ensuring pools are pristine for our guests.
• Be flexible and available for weekend shifts in addition to weekdays.
• Have a general knowledge of Health & Safety practices related to the Spa or a willingness to learn.
