Job summary

Gap Personnel are recruiting a Polisher and Prepper for a client in Oldbury. The role involves polishing plastic and carbon fibre automotive parts to a high gloss finish and prepping parts for painting.

You must have previous polishing and prep experience, be able to identify paint defects, maintain cleanliness, and ensure high-quality standards. The shift is Mon-Thu 2pm–12am with a £14.50/hour rate, temp-to-perm.

Qualifications

• Must have experience of Polishing and Prepping in a previous role
• Experience polishing carbon fibre and ABS painted parts
• Excellent eyesight and attention to detail
• Ensure high-quality standards are met

Responsibilities

• Polish plastic and carbon fibre automotive parts to high gloss and mirror finish
• Identify paint defects prior to polishing
• Keep the workstation clean, tidy and uncluttered to avoid damage
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for a Polisher and Prepper to work with our client based in Oldbury.

Details:

• £14.50 per hour
• Temp to perm role, possibility of perm role
• Monday to Thursday 2pm till 12am

The Person:

• Must have experience of Polishing and Prepping in a previous role is mandatory
• Can polish and prep carbon fibre and ABS painted parts
• Excellent eyesight and attention to detail.
• Ensure high-quality standards are met

The Role:

• Polishing plastic and carbon fiber automotive parts (small to large) to high gloss and mirror like finish
• Identifying paint defects prior to polishing
• Keeping works station clean, tidy and uncluttered at all times, eliminating risk of damage to painted components.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks.
