Job summary

Gap Personnel are recruiting for a Polisher and Prepper to work with our client based in Oldbury. The role offers £14.50 per hour on a temp to perm basis and requires commitment to high-quality finishes.

You will polish plastic and carbon fibre automotive parts to a mirror-like gloss, identify paint defects before polishing, and keep the workstation clean while maintaining equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Must have experience of Polishing and Prepping in a previous role is mandatory.
• Can polish and prep carbon fibre and ABS painted parts.
• Excellent eyesight and attention to detail.
• Ensure high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Polishing plastic and carbon fibre automotive parts (small to large) to high gloss and mirror like finish.
• Identifying paint defects prior to polishing.
• Keeping works station clean, tidy and uncluttered at all times, eliminating risk of damage to painted components.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks.

• 6am to 2.15pm Monday to Thursday and 6am till 12.30pm Friday
