Job summary

Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Avon and Somerset is recruiting a Policy, Partnerships and Commissioning Manager to shape and deliver services supporting vulnerable people across Avon and Somerset.

You will lead on commissioning, performance oversight and development of exploitation services, while managing grant funding and partnerships with local authorities and criminal justice partners.

Qualifications

• Experience of commissioning, contract management, grant management or service oversight.
• Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills across public, voluntary and community sectors.
• Experience of monitoring performance, managing risk and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to analyse information, interpret evidence and use insight to support decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including reports to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on commissioning, performance management and development of Exploitation Services delivered by local authority partners.
• Manage grant funding arrangements with partner organisations with governance, monitoring and outcomes.
• Oversee PCC Community Fund including grant administration.
• Oversee Young Victims Service commissioning, ensuring high-quality support for children and young people affected by crime.
• Provide policy, partnership and strategic support across crime prevention and victim support priorities.
• Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, criminal justice agencies and voluntary sector partners.
• Use evidence and performance data to inform commissioning decisions and service improvements.
• Support delivery of the Police and Crime Plan through collaboration across the directorate.
