Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) is hiring a Policy Manager in Bedford. Hybrid working supported.

The role focuses on developing policy, standards and guidance for the pensions dashboards service, translating legislation into operational requirements, and engaging with government and industry to manage risks and drive compliant delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams reporting to the Head of Policy and Standards, ensuring policy alignment across delivery and operations while

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading policy development and translating policy and/or legislation into service delivery requirements or operational practice.
• Strong relationship management skills to influence and build consensus with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver highquality outputs on time.

Responsabilités

• Monitor service and industry performance; provide evidence-based policy advice.
• Provide policy leadership in matrix teams to align delivery with legal/regulatory frameworks.
• Support development and continuous improvement of standards for providers and dashboards.
• Collaborate with regulators and the Department for Work and Pensions to shape policy positions.
• Communicate policy positions and standards to external stakeholders.
• Analyze the impact of new policies and regulations on the service and customers, identifying opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with policy, operations, data, and research teams to build the evidence base.
