Deliver comprehensive policy launch pieces or cross-functional work products integrated into a larger project, creating meaningful impact with minimal assistance.

Design, execute, and advocate for policy frameworks and standards, engaging with cross-functional partners to promote trust and mitigate risk for our client. Assess emerging issues, own at least one workflow or project area, and evaluate the impact of local law updates and active litigation. Plan and execute most prioritized projects independently, leveraging team support as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend creative solutions to evolving policy problems independently.
• Address escalated issues promptly and triage when necessary.
• Deconstruct complex problems, frame policy issues, and contextualize solutions for management and stakeholders.
• Identify trends, anticipate challenges, and develop strategies for ambiguous problems.
• Collaborate within teams to share knowledge across tasks.
• Build networks with key stakeholders for cross-team collaboration and success.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment.
• Engage externally on policy/process issues or innovative approaches, demonstrating thought leadership.
• Coordinate timelines, goals, and objectives for project components.
• Work with cross-functional partners, including technical and vendor teams, to support policy launch and implementation.
• Understand implications of policy and process changes on systems, enforcement, and operations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of policy development and implementation, ensuring policies are operationally feasible.
• Manage and implement global product policies with regional focus, considering local culture and community values.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to develop and implement product policies and standards. Participate in investigations and respond to external inquiries and investigations.
• Identify and analyze policy issues affecting the business and users, prioritizing accordingly.
• Resolve cross-product, high-impact policy escalations with minimal guidance.

Skills & Experience:

• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences, both written and oral, including adapting communication styles for influence.
• Knowledge of online, international, multilingual communities.
• Understanding of processes handling disruptive and unexpected events affecting stakeholders or the public.
• Proficiency in a foreign language (e.g., German, French, Mandarin, Spanish, Russian).
• Knowledge of policies, product platforms, and internet policy/legal frameworks.
• Experience in internet technologies, policy, and regulatory environments, including content moderation and online safety.
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
